Support for Suunto T4 series

Post by rungrrl » Wed Jul 16, 2008 1:01 pm

Any chance of finding out when there may be some (mac) support for my nice shiny new Suunto T4C?
I can't wait to be a statistics-geek with it :D

I'd add my agreement to that, but I wouldn't be holding my breath till it happens. I have gone from Polar to Suunto (I got sick and tired of the battery in the watch going flat (usually at the worst possible time), and then having to send it to an agent in another state, for the battery to be replaced. Replacing the battery myself in the Suunto seems much more sensible. I have used the Suunto software in Desktop Parallels, and it's OK, but I don't like having to open the Windows part of my Mac (I find it aesthetically offensive). Suunto apparently refuses to give Otag the required information to add Suunto to iSmarttrain.
