Howdy,
maybe this is a feature request, if it's already possible with the current release, please give me some hints:
I'd like to set up different HR training zones, one set for each activity. I'm doing running and cycling, where the hr zones are different - that makes it difficult to analyze the hr zone distribution of the training sessions.
Any idea?
Cheers, Robert
Activity related HR zones
Re: Activity related HR zones
Hi Robert,
No, that's not possible in the current release.

Re: Activity related HR zones
I tried the demo version and this how it's possible to use different zones in activities:
Just before you make the data transfusion select the zones (its a little bit work) "manage users", "HR zones". Insert them for running, now import all running files. The trainings for running have the right zones.
Cycling? wait.... Change HR zones. Import all cycling files.
I hope this 'll work also in the normal version....... Than it would be possible! And it's better than using an extra spreadsheet. Otherwise, we have got to use 2 different users: 1. running 2. Cycling.
@t Ismarttrain: May be it's able to make it easier to change the zones just before importing the files?? Or is this not possible?

Re: Activity related HR zones
A question - do you really need different zone settings or just a different Max HR for each sport?

Re: Activity related HR zones
For me, zones would be the best. I don't realy use the max HR.
Re: Activity related HR zones
I'm a little confused as I swim, cycle and run also.
My zones are calculated on % of max HR.
Therefore, they don't change between disciplines. Only my training focus changes ie. I'll choose to train within a particular zone. Consequently, no need to 'change the zones'.
