Hello Stuart.
I'm getting this error message on launching IST. This followed on from a mac grey down and instruction to restart just after downloading a session. I've tried reinstalling IST to no avail.
Cheers,
Frank.

Hi Frank,
sounds like something serious - try running 'Disk Utility' and using 'Verify Disk' to see if there's a problem with the disk.

Yes, that's what I thought!
So I'd already run Verify Disk for the HD and all OK. So wondered if it meant the Dropbox disk so I restored the ISTlogfile to the version last night before the latest download and shutdown (suspecting the crash corrupted a Dropbox sync), and am now getting a 'failed to open database' error message instead.
Aren't computers wonderful?

That sounds like the iST Log file is corrupt.

I've tried restoring to 2 of the earlier Log Files from Dropbox but still get the 'failed to open database' message. Any suggestions?

Send me one of the files, and I'll have a look at it.
Thanks

Re: Disk I/O error
Hello Stuart.
I'm having problems emailing or uploading the zipped log file (too big?). I've managed to open IST with a month old log file in Library but not with any of the versions in Dropbox. Can I simply import the missing hrm files? I can't find any 2010 hrm files. Are they no longer stored in this format by IST?
Cheers,
Frank.

Re: Disk I/O error
All the data is stored in the database now - no separate .hrm files.
Can you upload the file somewhere or use something like Dropsend.com?

Got the file - looks ok here. Noticed you're using an older version of iSMARTtrain, though - might be worth upgrading to the latest release.

Re: Disk I/O error
IST shows V3.0.7/3.0.7.3.0 and says I'm up to date.
It's a relief to see the file open OK at your end but still no-go here ......
I've tried moving the file to Library but the same result.
