New Polar RCX5

Post by jcueto » Mon May 30, 2011 10:59 pm

Interesting new multisport watch/hrm from polar. With a new "dual" band (with swimming function) and a new (?) USB.

Big screen, I do not know if can be customized (a really big stopwatch)?

Is the RCX5 compatible with iSMARTtrain with its DataLink adapter, or will it be in the next future?
Thank!

Hi Stuart,

as we can download und save .hrm files from this monitor with the provided software, it would "only" be necessary to support those files in ismarttrain. Any plans on that? Same for the CS500 monitor?

Hi Stuart,

as we can download and save .hrm files from the RCX5 with the tools polar has provided, it would only be necessary to support those files in ismarttrain. Any plans on that? And how about the CS500?

Hello,
I would also like to know if the RCX5 works natively with iSMARTtrain? Thanks

We don't support the RCX5 at the moment, but we hope to at some point.

Have you solved the problem with the RCX5 integration? Would be nice to know, if you did so.
