Hi,
Yes, I've go the updated source code form SigmaTel - unfortunately, it doesn't support the right protocols (IrLAP) to talk to the Polar HRMs, only IrCOMM. I've got copies of the IrDA specifications, and I'm working on getting the driver updated to support the required protocols. Now that V3.0 is out, I'll have more time to work on it.

Regards

Stuart

Hope this helps, as I'd love full RS800 IrDA support.

It's exactly what we would need, a "HRM sucker" that could get the HRM file from the watch outputing a file that could be imported in iSmartTrain....

Any news on an update? I'm so incredibly sick of Polar Pro Trainer 5 that I'm begging you to get this for the RS800G3 as soon as you can.

Begging, I say!

Hi,

Frustrated as others by Polar, I am trying to use iSmarttrain with my RS800 (trial version for now), but I have an issue for the downloading.

I use a Belkin Irda adaptor which works perfectly on a PC with Polar Pro Trainer. In ISmart, when I click Download (toolbar), I see only Carmin devices for USB choice and none of them recognize the Belkin.
How make this working ?

Thanks in advance for your help

Regards

Denis
