RS800 and OSX Leopard

I am feeling quite frustrated. I just got a Polar RS800cx with the bike stuff and the GPS attachment. I found parrallels did not work and my old PC is too old. So I was elated to find iSMARTtrain only to find I have the wrong kind of IR adapter. I am wondering if I should send the watch and stuff back or if the software will eventually support it. I had a heart attack recently and thought this tool would be of great use -- but ---???
